I’m a journalist and copywriter and I’ve had the privilege of working with print and digital media publishers and B2B marketing agencies for years to deliver engaging stories and copy. As a freelance content specialist, I also work with small businesses to hone and create content that’s engaging, on-brand and delivers great results.

When I’m not writing, you’ll find me chasing after my three young kids, knitting jumpers, or trying (and failing) to finish a coffee before it goes cold.

What makes you a writer?

Living in the age of social media and self-publishing, anyone can create and publish content and say they’re a writer (and there’s nothing wrong with this). But when it comes to content that gets results and makes you sound like you know what you’re doing, you want to engage someone who’s qualified for the job. With a Bachelor of Communication and Media from The University of Wollongong, majoring in Professional Writing, I have high-level skills and a strong technical foundation that underpins my written content. Paired with SEO training and professional development in copywriting throughout my diverse career, I’m confident that my qualifications and experience will benefit your business.

Where are you based?

I’m based on Dharawal Country in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, just south of Sydney. I love working with local businesses, but primarily work online, so location does not have to be a barrier to us working together.
